Lovely rooms in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful hotel. Ideal location for long walks or jogging. Excellent TV and free wireless.
Expensive evening meals £20 +. Also breakfast not served til 07:30 - not very good if you are there on business, I didnt have time for any breakfasts for the 4 nights I was there.
The setting of Slebech Park is outstanding (slightly difficult to locate as the council have refused permission for brown signs on main road), unfortunately due to work commitments we weren't able to arrive until 8pm and had to leave by 8am the following morning, which didn't allow us time to fully explore the walks etc. of this stunning location. We would most definitely return and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. The rooms were fantastic (I think we must have been upgraded as this was too impressive for a standard double room!). We had a pleasant evening meal in the restaurant, with very attentive staff and the breakfast was great.
There is only one thing I would recommend and that would be to make your website usable, you couldn't link in from one page to another without re-entering details via the search engine. This is vital in this day and age when most booking are done online. I had to telephone in the end to ask for information I couldn't find.
great location and most things very good -- all very new and in time if they polish up the edges it trully will be first class.
The Staff were excellent and the room very good. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
The signage for the hotel was very poor. I would not recommend this hotel without having proper directions.
The stunning location, private terrace, delicious food and luxury accommodation. Wonderful stay :-) one of the best hotels we've stayed in and we've been in quite a few!!
We have not stayed at a finer place. We are seniors and cannot navigate stairs well. When the staff learned this upon booking, we were moved downstairs to an upgraded suite at no increased charge. The setting provided a rare elegance and the staff was accomodating in every way possible. Slebech Park was a stunning surprise.
The only fault was the handtowels were located on a wall opposite from the hand wash (???) such the the stone tile floor became wet whenever we had to wash our hands.
Beautiful location, spotless rooms, good food and excellent staff.
The setting and location are stunning. We loved the view, the gardens, walking around the old knight's temple. The staff were welcoming and friendly and a pleasure to talk to.
To be hyper-critical: The light switches were hard to fathom and need some sort of labelling system. Some of the decor in our room is in need of attention. The windows needed cleaning. This sounds super-fussy, but you did ask!
Very poor resturant service, even at breakfast it was necessary to wait 10 min for coffee, at dinner we waited over 1 hr for food. If they can overcome this issue it would be excellent.
The location is stunnning with superb views and walks. The staff were very attentive and made one feel very welcome. Loved the bats
The food was very hit and miss for the rating of the hotel and while some dishes were up to standard others were unimaginative and lacked on presentaion - a rice dish with almonds and dried fruit came in a white bowl just as it was, no presentaion whatsoever and not only could we not see the fruit we couldn't taste it even, mentioned to waitress and alternative offered but there was nothing else that took our fancy. As my school report used to say 'could try harder'. Tranquil view of estuary spoit by blue van, the significance of which the manager did not appreciate.
Staff were exceptionally helpful and the room was extremely comfortable, I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time.
The staff were excellent - there were a few hitches but the staff sorted things out with a smile and "certainly no problem"
The mattress/cushions were a bit lumpy
The relax atmosphere and peacefulness of the whole place was just amazing ! staff were very friendly , wonderful scenery ,very comfortable bed and lvly room definately stay again and would recommend to others
Excellent hotel with very friendly staff - we will stay her again.
Water pressure for the shower was low.
Toured around - went to St David's and saw the beautiful cathedral. Went on a pretty coastal walk. Visited stunning Picton Castle and lovely gardens. Also visited Tenby with a lovely beach.
Service was not first class for a 5 * hotel. The room was comfortable but small and the bathroom had chips in the floor area.
