The luxery of the room, the beautifull vieuw at the border of the river and the magnificent food
An amazing location with glorious views. Slebech Park is so peaceful. Our room was very small but beautifully fitted out to a very high spec. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had a lovely lunch and breakfast was really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was excellent, however there was no light above the bathroom mirror which made doing make-up (and i suppose shaving too) very tricky. Also shower could have been perfect if grout had been scrubbed regularly to prevent orange staining. Breakfast was excellent... once it came. It was a Sunday and therefore should have been 8 until 10am. Cold buffet food was still being brought out at 8.15 and the cooked breakfast didn't emerge until 8.30am. It meant our departure and six hour drive was delayed.
The location of the hotel was beautiful, the room was of an excellent standard with a wonderful view of the estuary. We had the set menu in the restaurant and the food was of a very high standard, srumptious!! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The only thing I can think of is the outside of the hotel could do with a paint.
excellent restaurant and food - friendly staff - beautiful tranquil setting upgraded room which was a bonus- walking in the extensive grounds
Nice clean rooms and good TV entertainment
The restaurant produces good food, but often service is slow and the food slightly cold on arrieval.
Superb location, accomodation of a very high standard (more later) if somewhat like a a collection of appartments with a communal restaurant. Overall I would stay again but not dine with them. The Hotel really needs a strong manager to improve the staffing - once done it would be excellent.
Hmm where to start.... The staff seem indifferent and unproffesional, for such an establishment, the reception was particularly off putting. We were allocated an executive suite which was in fact shared lounge and kitchen with another double room - not what I was expecting, although rereading the reviews on here I should have. On asking whether this was correct with the proprietor he told me that no one had ever had a problem before - clearly others have as he well knew. The restaurant experience was dismal from a service and food point of view. The food was tasteless and almost non existant - I have eaten better and tastier food at Wetherspoons - yes that bad. Breakfast was shambolic but otherwise perfectly acceptable.
Very nice friendly staff. Tasty food, although small portions for a large hungry husband! Ideal for me though. Lovely situation, in the woods. It could be a slice of heaven, really, to have a relaxing stay.
Unfortunately we would not return here as they did not have a comfortable Bar or Lounge to sit and relax in. We had to sit in our room after dinner. It is something they could think of improving.
Fantastic staff who couldnt do enough for us. the rooms where brilliant and the location was superb. Breakfast was brill even when we were late the staff didnt hurry us at all. We even stayed an extra night. Thankyou to all at Slebech Park.
The hotel is in an idyllic location with a wonderful restaurant. The staff are young and enthusiastic, are eager to please and keen for guests to make the most of everything that the area has to offer. Imaginative and tasteful restoration of an old coach house has provided an excellent layout of bedrooms and sitting rooms which are well equipped and extremely comfortable.
Staff helpful and polite, we were out early one morning so missed breakfast, but on request we were provided a fresh packed lunch in exchange with an assortment of sandwiches and pastries. Lovely views from the restaurant of the grounds and food was excellent.
Room was a little warm (due to the time of year) with no air conditioning, but this did not overly affect us
Beds and facilities were very comfortable.Nice location .
Nice location, pleasant room but very much smaller than indicated on web sites. staff pleasant and helpful, but food disapointing. Poor menu, disapointing food.would have preferred to speak to the chef rather than the messenger re a sub standard meal.( for which we were not charged)
lack of lounge facilities available for guests use
The location and the breakfast was very good.
, though we had to complain as there was no marmalade to eat with the toast on either Sunday or Monday, - fair enough that it was not available on Sunday, but Monday was not good - answer of the waitress was that delivery had not arrivied, as the guests who wee eating food at the same time as us, we could have brought a pot back with us on Sunday - why could not a member a staff go to the nearest shop to buy marmalade if there was no delivery? The bin in the bathroom was not emptied on Sunday nor was the room hoovered as there was the same paper on the floor when we left on Sunday as when we arrived back on Sunday night, the window frames on the inside needed cleaning. The evening meal at the restaurant were not for us, too pricey and too fussy food, there should be two types of menues ie.E. Gammon, salad with vegetables as one price etc., we could not have afforded to eat at the restauarant and a few of the guests were saying the same.
Peaceful location. Central for exploring Pembrokeshire. Comfortable rooms, well equipped & good quality bedding. En suite also generous in space & top quality sanitary ware. Cannot fault breakfasts and evening meals excellent.
Difficult to find due to lack of signposting, mainly down to local authority difficulties.
Rooms were very comfortable and was easily upgraded so i had a room with a bath. Food was very good but expensive
Speed of service during breakfast - too slow when you have to leave for work
